"Night Fever," by Bee Gees

Oh. my. Gosh. I LOVE this song! This week I landed on one of my favorite dancy-dancy songs, “Night Fever,” by Bee Gees! I’ve heard other songs we’ve listened to before, but this is one of the first songs that I already knew the lyrics to before coming to class. The strong beat and funky sounds just make me feel something no other songs do. My favorite time to listen to this song is on a playlist with others like it when I’m renovating or doing chores. Bee Gees make any work go by faster.

The first lyrics in the song go, “Listen to the ground, There is movement all around, There is something goin’ down, And I can feel it.” Just listening to this song makes me feel so happy and makes me want to dance. The lyrics go perfectly with the song and they know just how they make you feel. I can imagine people back in the seventies with their fancy hair and clothes jamming out to this song. It is songs like this that make me wish I was born back then! It really must be the night fever.
